This Valentine’s Day, Candlenut invites you to slow down, savour the moment, and fall in love all over again—through food that warms the heart as much as it satisfies the soul.
A play on the Japanese word omakase, the Ah-Ma-Kase experience has been at the heart of Candlenut since 2015. Born from cherished memories of grandma’s kitchen, it embodies the kind of meal where there is always “a little more,” always something simmering gently on the stove, and always a spread made with deep affection.
Whether it’s your first celebration together or one of many, this intimate dining experience promises to fill the evening with heartfelt flavours, quiet joy, and the kind of comfort that lingers long after the last bite.

The Highlights
For this special evening, we’ve crafted a Valentine’s Day Ah-Ma-Kase tasting menu that weaves nostalgia into every course. Expect a repertoire of familiar, comforting dishes reimagined with refinement—each one designed to evoke the warmth and generosity of home. Some offerings are intentionally served warm, just as they would be when Ah Ma lifts the lid and ushers you to the table with a smile.

After which, begin your Valentine’s Day celebration with a welcome glass of champagne or sparkling tea, before tucking into the Candlenut Ah-Ma-Kase Menu that is presented in a family-style format and featuring 14 thoughtfully crafted dishes, specially curated by Chef Malcolm and his team for this occasion. Redemption Details:
- Guests may choose their dinner timeslots from 6pm to 8pm in 15-minute intervals on a first-come-first-served basis. Once chosen, timeslots cannot be altered.
- Kindly indicate any dietary restrictions/allergies in the text field below.
- A confirmation email from KrisFlyer will be triggered immediately upon a successful redemption. Once received, your redemption has been confirmed and your spot has been secured.
- No further booking on Candlenut’s website will be required.
- A confirmation email from Candlenut will also be sent within 1 week of the event.

Terms & Conditions:
- Redemption is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- This experience must be redeemed in full using KrisFlyer miles.
- Members can make multiple redemptions. 50,000 KrisFlyer miles will be deducted for each redemption. Each redemption is for 2 persons.
- Each table will be for a maximum of 2 diners. If you wish to sit with another couple at the same table (up to 6 persons at the table), kindly reach out to KrisFlyer_Team@singaporeair.com.sg. Request is subjected to availability and Candlenut’s approval.
- Each redemption is only valid for the Valentine’s Day dinner at Candlenut on Friday, 13 February, 6pm onwards as per your selected time slot.
- No changes will be entertained once a specified time slot has been chosen.
- The KrisFlyer miles redeemed for this Experience are strictly non-refundable in the event of withdrawal or no show by participants. In case of a no-show, redemption is deemed to be utilised. No alternative arrangement will be allowed.
- In the event a member is unable to attend the event, he or she may gift the experience to their family or friends. No refunds will be entertained.
- The “Ah-ma-kase” menu is designed to be enjoyed by the entire table and is portioned exactly to the number of guests in the party. Candlenut will not be able to provide vegetarian, gluten-free, vegan, no allium, no spice and no shellfish options for this experience.
- Peranakan cuisine, as interpreted on the menu contains mainly fish, shellfish and meat products mixed with ingredients such as dairy, gluten, soy, egg, garlic, onions, nuts, chilli and dried or fermented shrimp paste. In an effort to preserve the essence, quality of the concept and a holistic dining experience, guests with dietary preference are encouraged to enjoy the original menu designed by Candlenut’s culinary team instead of modifying the original intention of the experience .
- Redemption is only applicable to the “Ah-ma-kase” Valentine’s Day Dinner set menu that is specially curated for KrisFlyer Experiences.
- Not valid for reservations made through third party online platforms.
- Menu can be subjected to changes due to availability of ingredients or any seasonal changes from time to time.
- Prices for any add-ons are subject to 10% service charge and prevailing government tax. To enjoy the MasterCard Exclusives, payment must be made using a MasterCard credit or debit card, and the cardholder must be present; otherwise, the full price will apply.
- Food and drinks purchased from outside Candlenut Restaurant cannot be consumed in the restaurant.
- Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts, privileges, promotions, vouchers, membership privileges or privileges/VIP cards unless otherwise stated.
- The dress code is Smart Casual, with long pants and closed-toed shoes required for gentlemen. Athletic wears are strictly not allowed.
