The Experience
Discover the rich heritage and evolving craftsmanship of Korean rice wine through an exclusive event at HIDEAWAY, the private dining oasis located above One-Michelin-Star NAE:UM. Exclusively curated for KrisFlyer members, this one-day-only experience brings together the worlds of Korean beverage culture and contemporary Korean gastronomy within an intimate space featuring its own dining room, lounge, and dedicated kitchen.
Guided by Head Sommelier Ocean Kang, 2026 Tatler Best Sommelier - Singapore, guests will embark on a curated tasting journey featuring four distinct Korean rice wines, including a sparkling expression that showcases the versatility and sophistication of Korea's traditional brewing heritage. Each pour is thoughtfully paired with a selection of small bites, including NAE:UM’s signature memilmyeon, specially curated by Chef Founder Louis Han to highlight the nuances of the wines.

The Highlights
Embark on a guided tasting of four distinctive Korean rice wines, starting with a sparkling expression, as Head Sommelier Ocean Kang shares insights into Korea's centuries-old brewing traditions and the unique characteristics of each pour. Recognised as 2026 Tatler Best Sommelier - Singapore, Ocean brings her award-winning expertise and passion for this intimate experience.
Complementing the tasting are three specially curated canapés and NAE:UM’s signature memilmyeon, thoughtfully crafted to highlight the nuances and flavours of the wines. Guests will also enjoy a special appearance by Chef Founder Louis Han, who will share the inspiration behind the pairings and his approach to contemporary Korean cuisine.
Throughout the event, finger food will be served, allowing guests to continue the experience at a relaxed pace while enjoying the intimate atmosphere of HIDEAWAY. The event concludes with Ocean’s non-alcoholic concoction, “Nurungji”, made from roasted rice, camomile, and yuja.

Redemption Details:
- A confirmation email will be triggered immediately upon a successful redemption.
- No further booking with NAE:UM will be required. Members will receive a reminder via WhatsApp 1 week prior to the event date.
