The Experience
Embark on a unique gastronomic journey of Peranakan food artfully paired with sake. Treat your taste buds to authentic Peranakan dishes at Straits Chinese Restaurant by Guan Hoe Soon. The restaurant has over 70 years of heritage and creates authentic dishes using family recipes handed down through generations. Enjoy a specially designed 4-course dinner using only the freshest ingredients and spices. As part of the experience, enjoy a sake pairing by award-winning master sake sommelier, Joshua Kalinan. The Highlights
This experience features a 4-course Peranakan dinner menu, each course will be paired with a different type of sake. The highlight of the dinner will be the main course, where you can choose between a Babi Pangang (Grilled pork in Peranakan style) OR Itek sio (Peranakan Braised duck). Joshua will be onsite that evening to introduce and share his knowledge on the four different types of sake served that evening. You can view the full menu HERE.

- Guests enjoy 15% their next visit to Straits Chinese Restaurant, on frozen packs and 5% off their first bottle of Sake and 8% off subsequent bottles. All payment for these purchases must be made with a Mastercard.
Terms & Conditions:
- Redemption is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The experience must be redeemed in full using KrisFlyer miles.
- Miles redeemed are non-refundable.
- Members can redeem multiple tickets. 32,000 KrisFlyer miles will be deducted for each redemption.
- Each redemption is valid for a dining experience for 2 people. Additional paying guests will not be entertained.
- Please email tradewinds_mice@singaporeair.com.sg at least one week before the dinner. Further changes after that will not be entertained.
- Each redemption is only valid for the dining experience on 8 April 2022.
- In case of no show on 8 April 2022, the redemption is deemed to be utilised. No alternative arrangement will be allowed.
